The Opportunity:

Our client, a market leader in growing systems within the greenhouse horticulture industry, is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join their team in Leamington, Ontario. The Account Manager will be responsible for serving the North American market by providing tailored horticultural solutions, managing customer relationships from concept to completion, and driving sales growth through excellent service and new business development.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Collaborating directly with customers to assess their needs and recommend the most effective systems to support their growth.
• Generating quotations and assisting with system designs and drawings.
• Identifying new business opportunities and cultivating long-term customer relationships.
• Monitoring sales reports, appointments, and client information to ensure accurate follow-up and service.
• Maintaining excellent business relationships with both existing and potential clients.
• Working efficiently under pressure with high-volume turnarounds and short timelines.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field (Horticultural Technology background is an asset).
• Experience in the Greenhouse, Agricultural, or Horticultural industry.
• Possesses excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrates high motivation, independence, and the ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings.
• Is proficient with ERP systems and skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel within North America.
• Strong proficiency in French would be considered an asset.
