The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager in Tilbury, Ontario area to lead and continuously improve quality systems within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet internal standards, customer expectations, and all applicable regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in driving a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s quality management system to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Leading and managing internal and external audits, including preparation, execution, follow-up, and ongoing compliance with industry standards.
- Overseeing and mentoring the quality assurance team, providing leadership, training, and performance guidance to support high standards of quality and accountability.
- Monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
- Investigating non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, to embed quality standards throughout the organization.
- Supporting new product introductions and process changes by ensuring quality requirements are defined, documented, and validated.
- Managing supplier quality programs, including supplier qualification, audits, and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Ensuring accurate documentation control, record retention, and compliance with regulatory and customer documentation requirements.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, or other related fields.
- 5 – 7+ years of progressive experience, preferably in a regulated or high-volume setting.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop quality professionals at different stages of their careers.
- Previous experience overseeing industry standards such as ISO, NSF, or ITFS.
- Proven experience leading internal and external audits, including regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.
- Proficiency with quality management systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong working knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, and continuous improvement tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with frontline employees, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership.
