The Opportunity:
Our client is looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to their team in Windsor, Ontario. The Maintenance Supervisor will be overseeing a team of employees, organizing effective installation, maintenance, and repair tasks to guarantee that all company assets at the facility function at optimal levels.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Overseeing direct reports to ensure safe and efficient repair and maintenance of company assets.
- Evaluating processes to enhance equipment uptime through optimal utilization of skilled personnel and effective communication with the production team.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental policies among all production team members.
- Administering accurate daily time and attendance records while supporting the team with additional assigned responsibilities.
- Developing job plans and executing unscheduled repairs, coordinating work across departments, and overseeing preventive maintenance on both stationary and mobile equipment.
- Providing leadership and training employees on safety and operational regulations, holding personnel accountable for performance through coaching and discipline.
- Ensuring safe practices through daily inspections, training, coaching, and accident investigations.
- Inspecting production equipment to verify optimal operating conditions, logging maintenance notifications and work orders, and keeping precise records of completed work.
- Reporting operational issues, including outages or mechanical failures, to peers, supervisors, and management.
- Evaluating repairs, materials, tools, and work conditions to ensure that quality work is delivered on schedule.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on maintenance operations.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in maintaining electrical equipment and repairing heavy-duty machinery.
- Proven leader with a track record of effectively guiding teams and fostering collaboration.
- Highly skilled in interpreting technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and blueprints, with comprehensive knowledge of hydraulics, welding, diesel repair, and basic electrical work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with team members and stakeholders.
